Beta terms of use

Research support, not a substitute for judgment.

These terms describe the rules and important limitations that apply when you create a profile or use the MarketSense beta.

Effective August 15, 2026

Important: MarketSense provides research organization and decision-support tools. It does not provide investment, legal, tax, accounting, valuation, or transaction advice. Verify material facts independently before acting.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating a profile, accessing a workspace, or using MarketSense, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use MarketSense for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms.

2. The beta service

MarketSense is an early beta. Features, evidence coverage, providers, limits, pricing, and availability may change. A market listed in the catalog may be a structured research framework rather than an evidence-connected product. The interface is intended to label that distinction.

We may modify, pause, or discontinue beta functionality to improve quality, protect users, comply with law, or address security and operational issues.

3. Profiles and access

You are responsible for using an email address you control, protecting secure sign-in links and active sessions, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. Do not share an account or attempt to access another organization’s workspace.

Beta access may be limited, suspended, or terminated for misuse, security risk, prolonged inactivity, or material violation of these terms.

4. Your research and content

You keep ownership of the research content you create or submit. You give MarketSense permission to host, process, reproduce, and transform that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content. Do not upload material nonpublic information, trade secrets, export-controlled data, regulated personal data, or third-party confidential material unless you are authorized and the beta has been approved for that use.

5. Market data, sources, and AI output

MarketSense may combine public sources, third-party sources, calculations, user inputs, and AI-assisted synthesis. Sources can be delayed, revised, incomplete, unavailable, or subject to separate rights and terms. Company and ticker mappings are research seeds, not proof of exposure or market position.

AI output can be inaccurate or omit important context. Citations and confidence labels reduce uncertainty but do not eliminate it. You are responsible for reviewing sources, assumptions, calculations, limitations, and conclusions before relying on an output.

6. No professional or investment advice

MarketSense does not recommend securities, investments, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, pricing decisions, or other transactions. Nothing in the service is an offer, solicitation, fiduciary recommendation, fairness opinion, or guarantee of results.

Use qualified legal, financial, tax, accounting, technical, and industry advisers where appropriate. You remain responsible for your diligence and decisions.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use MarketSense unlawfully, deceptively, or to violate another person’s rights.
  • Probe, disrupt, bypass, or interfere with security, access controls, usage limits, or tenant isolation.
  • Introduce malware, automate abusive traffic, scrape the service, or resell access without written permission.
  • Misrepresent illustrative, framework, draft, or AI-assisted output as independently verified research.
  • Remove source, rights, confidence, limitation, or evidence-boundary notices from exported work.

8. MarketSense materials

MarketSense and its licensors retain their rights in the product, software, design, trademarks, taxonomies, and platform materials, excluding your content and third-party source material. These terms grant a limited, revocable right to use the beta for its intended business research purpose.

9. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

MarketSense uses Stripe to provide hosted checkout, payment processing, receipts or invoices, and a customer billing portal. MarketSense does not receive or store your full payment-card number or card security code.

A Decision Brief is a one-time $199 purchase for the scope described at checkout. Founding Professional is $99 per month and renews automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel a Founding Professional subscription through the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Access may be limited after cancellation, nonpayment, reversal, or refund.

Managed refreshes, expert review, custom evidence acquisition, and enterprise work are not included in either self-service offer unless a written order says otherwise. Those services remain separately scoped and priced.

Except where law requires otherwise or MarketSense expressly agrees, one-time fees are nonrefundable after work begins and subscription fees already charged are nonrefundable. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless checkout states otherwise. If a charge appears incorrect, contact support@marketsense.market.

During the current test-mode beta, Stripe checkout uses test transactions and does not create a live charge. MarketSense will provide clear notice before live billing is enabled.

10. Service limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, secure, or suitable for a particular decision.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketSense is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the beta, source data, or AI-assisted output. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply in full.

11. Ending use and changes

You may stop using the beta at any time and may request account deletion by emailing support@marketsense.market. Provisions that naturally continue—such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limitations—survive termination.

We may update these terms as the product and commercial model develop. Material updates will carry a new effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice.
